Super WHY's Comic Book Adventures General Audience Screening

Be among the first to watch PBS KIDS' new program, Super WHY's Comic Book Adventures! Join us on October 3 at 10:30 a.m., at Iowa PBS to watch this new series. This screening will be open to all families and is the perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy the debut of this funny and engaging new series. If your family would benefit from a sensory-friendly event, please join us at 9 a.m. 

At the event, families will grab a snack and drink before heading into the theater to watch two advance episodes on the big screen. After the screening, children will have the opportunity to participate in an activity from the Iowa PBS Education team.

This new animated series builds on the legacy and success of the beloved Emmy-nominated SuperWHY! series and Super WHY's Comic Book Adventures shorts. The program will empower preschoolers and kindergartners by supporting early literacy skills through exciting 7-minute stories that launch them into a colorful comic book universe where every interactive story adventure brings reading to life.

Super WHY's Comic Book Adventures follows the Super Readers – Super Why, Wonder Red, Princess Presto, Alpha Pig, and newest reading hero, Power Paige – on out-of-this-world adventures as they use their own unique literacy powers and gadgets to protect Reader Valley from a group of silly Super Villains – with help from the viewer, “Super You.”
