In collaboration with Camp Dodge Daughters of the American Revolution, join Iowa PBS on June 7 at 2 p.m. for an advance screening of our newest documentary, General Dodge and the Transcontinental Railroad

This new documentary explores the life and legacy of Grenville M. Dodge, a Civil War general, intelligence pioneer and chief engineer for the Union Pacific, whose leadership on and off the battlefield helped preserve a fractured nation and drive the expansion that connected a continent. Through a story of war, innovation and ambition, the film examines the forces that bound the United States together during one of its most defining eras.

Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and refreshments will be provided. Open captions for the film will be also be provided. This event is free but registration is required.
